Chocolate peanut butter protein bars


  • 2 cups of dry rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup of runny nut butter I used natural peanut butter
  • 3 tablespoons of chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup of natural honey
  • 1/8 cup of melted coconut oil
  • 2/3 cup of chocolate protein powder
  • A sprinkle of salt


  • Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl.
  • Stir until everything is combined. If the powder is separating, you may need to add more honey or a splash of non-dairy milk.
  • Line a 9x9 baking pan with parchment or wax paper.
  • Empty the mixture into the pan and pat it down.
  • Put another layer of parchment or wax paper on top to flatten the mixture out.
  • Place in the fridge for 30 minutes to an hour.
  • Take it out and cut the bars in 16 squares.
  • Eat and enjoy.
  • Refrigerate the leftovers in a covered container.
