Happy Thanksgiving Day to all of you!

Good morning, friends far and wide. I hope this post finds you enjoying a lovely Thanksgiving Day. Whether you are traveling, stuck at work, visiting family or going through a regular day, maybe you can stop for a moment and be thankful for everything you have in your life.

I know I have a lot to be thankful for this year. My good health, my husband, my dear family, my friends on both coasts, my very fun life in San Francisco, my jobs in the fitness industry, and of course, my blog.

Many reasons to be thankful via A Lady Goes WestSo many wonderful people, so little space in just one photo collage …

Today, I’m celebrating Thanksgiving with my number-one-guy and his family down in San Diego. I’m really happy to be spending time with them in their new hometown. And while I will definitely be missing my own parents and brother during this holiday, I’m with them in spirit and look forward to being by their side at Christmas.

For a blast from the past, check out two previous Thanksgiving Day recaps I did back when A Lady Goes West was still in its infancy: Giving thanks, a recap of my family’s Thanksgiving visit to San Francisco the first year we lived here in 2012 and Thankful for San Francisco, a recap of last year’s holiday, which Dave and I spent together in the City, running a 5K, going to a car show, cooking and even ice-skating.

Now go get your feast on and own that dinner plate!

Questions of the day

How are you celebrating Thanksgiving? Do you have any family traditions you’ll be partaking in today?

It’s felt like forever since the day we met, but I am hoping we run into each other soon at a blogger event. I am very thankful blogging has given me the opportunity to connect with people near me and to be able to have met someone as motivated as you! Your blog is definitely going to be my fitness resource for the month. 😉
