Let’s get to the best Father’s Day gifts for 2023 …

Comfy polos and shorts

You know how much I’ve been loving the Vuori clothing line for me. Well I finally purchased some Vuori items for Dave for our anniversary last week, and now he’s a fan too! Vuori clothing is totally affordable, comfortable, and it looks good. I got Dave these pants, these shorts and two of this style of polo. I would say the polo is one of the best-looking polos I’ve seen in a while, and he can wear it to work or for play. I think anything from Vuori would make a great Father’s Day gift, and it all runs true to size, according to the reviews and according to Dave. Find the Vuori Strato Tech Polo here. Find the Vuori Aim Shorts here.

Practice putting mat

If you have a dad in your life who likes to golf, then this is a stellar gift. These practice putting mats can be rolled up and stored away, so you don’t have to leave them out — because nobody wants one of these in their living room. I found two really good ones and both have an automatic ball return too, which is convenient. This practice putting mat from Amazon looks solid. And this one is the same price but looks just a bit elevated. Find the practice putting mat here.

The best training sneakers

I’ve been talking about my love for the Reebok Nano sneakers for training and lifting weights for maybe five years now. I’ve bought the Nano X1, X2 and now even the X3, and these shoes remain my top choice for doing strength workouts, because they are flat, and they provide lateral support. I’ve been preaching about this shoe to women mostly (and have encouraged many ladies in my classes to buy them), but these sneakers also come in a version for men (and they come in like 10 different color combinations). If you have a dad in your life who likes to lift weights or do strength-based group fitness classes, this shoe would be a welcome gift that they didn’t know they needed. It’s that good! Skincare for men

Dave is a huge fan of Beautycounter’s Counterman line, and it’s the only face lotion he uses. This line was out of stock for a while, and I’m so happy it’s back right now. If you’re looking for a good Father’s Day gift, why not treat the dad you love with some skincare? It could be super fun for him to have some quality, manly products to take care of his skin. You can get an exfoliating cleanser, face lotion and body wash, or you can get all the items in a discounted gift bundle too. Find the Counterman products here.

Adult LEGO project

This isn’t something I would normally put on a gift guide, because I’m not into LEGOs, I’m not into Star Wars, and I’m not into projects like this at all. But for my older brother’s birthday a few months ago, I bought him this adult LEGO project (upon Dave’s convincing) and he was so darn excited to receive it. These 18+ LEGO sets take a few days to build, they are complicated, and they would make a good stress-relieving project for a dad in your life who likes to build things. Find The Mandalorian Helmet LEGO set here.

Leather bracelet with kids’ names

I bought Dave a leather bracelet with our birthdays several years ago, and he liked it a lot, because it was sentimental. One of my thought-partner dads for this post also received a bracelet with his kids’ names and suggested it as as gift idea for the list, so this idea is a winner. There are plenty of places to get this kind of thing, and I’m always a fan of supporting small businesses like you find on Etsy. Find some great leather bracelets you can personalize here.

Smart light starter kit

If you’ve never been able to turn your lights off/on by your phone or by a voice assistant, you’re missing out! Dave is majorly into smart lights, and we have them all over our house. This is a little starter kit with two bulbs and a bridge device. All you have to do is plug in the bulbs, connect your bluetooth on your phone to the bridge device and download the Hue app. It’s so simple. Find the Philips Hue smart light starter kit here.

Monogrammed leather money clip

Can we all just say goodbye to thick wallets? I ditched my big continental wallet last year for a thin card case for my essentials, and I’m never going back to a big wallet. I bought Dave a slim wallet a couple years ago, and I think soon he’ll be ready to head all the way to a money clip. I love the look of a leather one that you can even monogram for a dad in your life. Find the monogrammed leather money clip here.

Monogrammed/personalized ice cubes

I didn’t know this was a thing until a year ago, when I asked a cool dad I know for some gift ideas. Basically, a dad can make big-block ice cubes with his initials or monogram on them for cocktails or other drinks. Very cool idea! Find the personalized ice cubes here.

Super-simple casual white sneakers

I think Dave has like four pairs of these adidas Stan Smith sneakers in different colors, and when I was talking to him about my best Father’s Day gifts for 2023, he said I should put some Stan Smith sneakers on the list. Here they are! These leather casual sneakers are super classic, and they can be dressed up or down. These would make an amazing gift. GPS golf speaker

Here’s another thing I didn’t even know existed, but it’s a speaker that plays music, attaches to a golf cart and also has some other golf-friendly features. It’s a bit pricey, but it seems like a really cool gift idea for a dad who golfs. Find the Bushnell Wingman GPS Speaker here.

Corkcicle ice-wedge glass

I bought this glass/ice cube combination for Dave a few years ago, and it’s pretty cool. You can put the glass with the silicone ice mold wedge into the freezer, then you pull it out, and you have an ice cube that fits half the glass, for a slow melt. If you know a dad who likes some fun barware, these cups are a good gift idea. Find the Corkcicle wedge glass here. You can also find it on Amazon here.

A few other ideas? A car-detailing package. A gift certificate for a massage. Tickets to a concert or stand-up comedy show. Or even a fun overnight trip.

And that concludes the list of the best Father’s Day gifts for 2023! Happy shopping, friend!
