Big news, I need your help, latest favorites and a giveaway
My friends! How are you? I’m doing pretty good, in spite of that whole not sleeping very well thing, but you don’t need to hear that one again. This week has been a busy one, with my last mommy group meeting, workouts (read more about my postpartum fitness journey here) and all sorts of other to-dos I will explain further below.
Brady is becoming even cuter and sweeter and more chatty (so chatty!) as the days go on, and he’s definitely also getting the majority of my attention, which makes all those to-dos harder to do. But, I wanted to pop in today to share some news, ask for some help, chatter about some faves and offer a giveaway. Ready? Here we go …
The big news
OMG! We bought a house! It has been a total dream of ours to buy a home in the pricey San Francisco Bay Area, and after much looking and struggle … well, we did it. Some of you may remember when I opened up in this post to explain that we searched all summer while I was pregnant and put in eight offers on homes in Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill, only to be outbid every time (the market here is unlike any other and all houses go above asking price with multiple offers in just a matter of days). Well, we briefly started our search again in December, and two offers later, we’re the proud owner of a home in Pleasant Hill, which is directly next door to our current town, Walnut Creek. We closed on the house on Tuesday, and we move in next week. Woohoo!
I can’t wait to share more about the house, show you some pictures and finally get settled into a place that we own. I haven’t lived in a house since I was with my parents between summers from college, having been in apartments in a college town and then big cities ever since … most recently a three-story townhome for the last three years right near downtown Walnut Creek.
So, next week, because it’s moving week, and we’ll be attempting to pack, move and unpack with a needy dog and a less than four-month old baby on minimal sleep, I likely won’t be in communication that much. But I hope to get back to a regular posting cadence the week after that, which will hopefully be twice-a-week thing around here. I’m thinking of posting on Tuesdays and Thursdays, rather than the Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays I had been doing for the past year, but more on that next …
I need your help — it’s survey time
It’s been almost three years since I’ve done a blog survey. And while I constantly ask the people in the A Lady Goes West Friends Facebook group what they want to see on the blog (and they are always so helpful!), I figured it was time to ask the masses what you enjoy. As you know, my life has changed significantly since I started the blog, and my topics and experiences have changed too. And to make sure we’re still connecting, I want to know the kinds of posts you like to see, and I want to know what kind of things you want me to stop doing or reduce. I’m here to serve!
In addition to that, because I check in so much more on Instagram and Facebook, I feel like we stay in touch a lot, and I want to know if you like that communication too or want to see more of it on the blog. For instance, you’ve seen this picture of my favorite meal from Tender Greens on the socials already …
I’ve put together a quick 10-question survey, and I’d so appreciate it if you could complete it for me. It would mean a lot to me. It’s super easy to do, so just click here and answer the questions, and don’t worry, it’s anonymous and no one will see the answers but me. I know you are super busy, so even if you can only answer a few questions, that would be great.
If you don’t like surveys, feel free to leave blog post comment or email me ashley at aladygoeswest dot com, to let me know your thoughts on the state and future of the blog. Thank you in advance, my friends!
Yes, I’ll take the survey. Let’s do it!
Latest favorite things
It’s been a while since I’ve shared my favorites, so here we go …
Brand new collagen creamer packs and a GIVEAWAY
I don’t have to tell you all how much I love using collagen peptides for its skin, gut and joint health benefits, especially now that I’m postpartum. And you can read more about what I’m doing to have a healthy postpartum recovery here.
Well, my friends at Vital Proteins last year launched a collagen peptide creamer for your coffee and tea (I use it in my morning tea), and it’s dairy and lactose free, has no added sweeteners or sugars and is made with coconut milk. I absolutely love it. And I’m not alone, because it was so popular it had to be backordered for a while.
And just this week, Vital Proteins released the single-serve to-go packets of that same collagen creamer in both the coconut and vanilla flavors. Each packet has 10 grams of protein and 10 grams of collagen, and this is high-quality stuff, and it’s sooo good for you too. I happen to love the coconut, but the vanilla is good as well.
Now for that giveaway: One lucky winner will get a box of the collagen creamer packets, in whichever flavor you want. Thanks to Vital Proteins for sending me a box and for offering to send one to the winner too.
If you want to get your hands on the collagen creamer and you don’t win the giveaway, it’s available now on the Vital Proteins site.
The giveaway: One winner will get a box of 10 collagen creamer packets, valued at $29. In order to win, you must leave a comment on this blog post. And you must reside within the U.S. or Canada. This giveaway will close next Friday, January 19.
Mommy group and mommy friends
For the last seven weeks or so, I’ve gone to a weekly mommy group meeting on Tuesdays in downtown Walnut Creek at the John Muir Wellness Services, and I’m SO glad I did this. Not only did I learn a lot about newborns, mothering, parenting, etc. from the group’s counselor, but I also got to hear from other new moms who share such similar struggles as I do during this time.
It’s been an active activity for me too. If you recall, I taught an outdoor stroller boot camp to some of the ladies in my group two times, and I always walk to the meeting on the Iron Horse Trail, which means lots of fresh air and steps. Woohoo!
We’ve covered topics like sleep (I’m trying out the tips I learned from the counselor, and so far they are helping marginally), the post-baby body (it’s supposed to take a full year to truly get back to where it was before the baby), breastfeeding, bottle feeding and most recently, relationships and how to connect with and communicate with your spouse when you have a new baby around.
I would highly recommend that any new moms out there who have access to a mommy group do it. It’s been great for me. And the best part? You can change and feed your baby during all of the sessions, and you never have to be embarrassed if your baby cries. (And for the record, Brady slept through almost every session and never had to be fed or changed … score!) This guy …
Well, in addition to going to a weekly mommy group, I’ve also kept up with my weekly walk with two of my girlfriends, who also happen to be moms. We’ve been doing these walks since I was pregnant, and we talk about everything under the sun — including babies and momhood.
Our day-time get-togethers often include babies in strollers for a couple of us, but I knew we were in need of a different kind of outing. So last week, I suggested we get together for a night out. Yassss! There was a big group of us who left the babes at home with our hubs and met for a drink at Sasa and then moved on to dinner at Oyama for sushi both in downtown Walnut Creek. And the 49ers roll is my jam …
It was such a fun night! So much fun that we decided to make it a monthly thing, and our next evening get together will be in February. Can’t wait!
Moral of the story? Friends and social interactions are super important and good for the soul, no matter how busy you are. And when you’re a new mom, talk to other new moms … it totally helps.

A few things worth sharing …
- I love to read about wellness trends. And my favorite sites, Mindbodygreen and Well and Good, put out their lists of what will be hot in fitness and wellness this year. Both are very interesting, and I look forward to trying out some of the trends myself.
- HIIT or high-intensity interval training is not going anywhere, but you cannot, I repeat, cannot do this type of super hard exercise every day. Here’s some great research on what HIIT does for the body.
- Hope you didn’t miss this long post about how I’ve approached my postpartum fitness journey.
- Such a great article about being introspective. Love it!
- Speaking of goals, here are a few worthy ones I think are worth considering for 2018.
Thanks for stopping by the blog. Thanks for considering the survey. And thanks for being you! Have a great weekend, and I’ll be back around soon. 🙂

It’s very good! Thanks for saying hi, Molly! 🙂
OMG Congrats on buying a house! That’s so exciting! Next week will definitely be crazy, but I can’t wait to see pictures. And currently sipping on my coffee with Vital Proteins Coconut creamer, love it so much. I’ve noticed a HUGE difference in my skin since using collagen. Happy Weekend Ashley!
It soooo works! Love to hear that, Patricia! 🙂 Happy Friday to you!
Congratulations on the house! That is so exciting. Will you still be in an area where you can easily walk places? I can’t wait to hear more about it.
Hi Julie! Yessss, we will still be able to walk to a grocery store, Starbucks, etc. — gotta have my walking! hehehe!
Congratulations on the house! That’s awesome 🙂
I’d love to try those creamers, sounds really interesting.
Thanks, Megan! Have a great weekend! 🙂
That is BIG news! Congrats! I know what a struggle the home search has been for you so I’m super happy that has finally ended. Can’t wait to see pictures and to learn more about the new digs.
Happy Friday! Xoxo.
Thanks, Courtney! We were definitely ready for things to work out, and they have! 🙂 yay!! Happy Friday, my friend!
Congrats on the house! I feel your pain, my husband and I have put several offers on houses in Savannah, Georgia and it works much the same when you are in a safe part of town! Hope the move goes smoothly for you guys!
Something good going on in my life is starting a photography business. Although I am still in the planning phases being able to do practice shoots for friends and bloggers over the past couple months has been so much fun!
Hi Hilary! Ohhhh soooo exciting for your new biz! I love that you are starting that up! Good luck! If you lived here, I’d totally work with you! 🙂
Congrat on the new house! I look forward to that happening for us one day… unfortunately that likely won’t happen while we are in Chicago (like it wouldn’t have happened for you in SF). Have so much fun moving! ;D
We weren’t totally sure it would happen here either, Susie — but clearly it was meant to be! All the homes that didn’t work out weren’t right for us, and this one is. Happy Friday to you, lady!! And I’ll have fun moving, and you
ll have fun with childbirth. Deal? hehehehehehehe
Congratulations on the house!! That is amazing! So happy for you Ashley! Best of luck packing with a needy dog and tiny baby. Survey is complete my friend.
Something good in my life right now is knowing I’ll be able to pay off my student loans (~25k) in less than a year after graduating college! It was a big goal and I definitely made sacrifices but knowing I’ll complete it is amazing and so worth it. Now I just need to figure out my treat for doing so…Any suggestions are appreciated! I’ve got until of March to decide before making the final payment.
Wooooow, Maureen! That is amazing! I know a lot people carry their loans for much longer than that. You totally deserve a spa day! Or maybe a fancy haircut or some new sneakers? I don’t know– so many options! Go girl! And thanks for doing the survey!
The creamer looks great and so easy to have for traveling!
Yessss — I have a lot of trips coming up, so I know these will come in handy! 🙂 Happy Friday, Charlotte!
Congrats! I really enjoy the new mom posts and look forward to reading more. I am also very interested in the collagen supplement.
Thanks for the feedback, Jenessa! 🙂 Happy Friday to you!
I love adding collagen to my coffee. I would love to try the flavored packets!
Glad you’re a collagen fan, Suzie! 🙂 Happy Friday!
AHH congrats!!! That is SO exciting. I know how hard it is out here— so many of my coworkers are trying to do the same! I remember Oyama!! Such a great sushi spot!
Carrie, it’s so bad in the entire Bay Area — heehhehe you know it! And yess to Oyama, I’m glad we will still be close enough to eat regularly in downtown Walnut Creek, because there are so many great spots there. Happy Friday, lady! 🙂
I’ve tried to get on the collagen bandwagon but never was consistent. But adding it to my coffee in the form of creamer seems perfect!
Hi Ash! Yes, putting it in my morning tea (which I ALWAYS have) has been the only way I’ve been consistent too. Thanks for reading and saying hi, lady! 🙂
Have just started using collagen and would love to try out that creamer! Help a girl out! 🙂
heheheh I know, Mary!! Thanks for reading and saying hi! 🙂
Congrats on the house, Ashley! I’ve never commented before. My little guy is exactly 2 weeks younger than Brady. I loved reading his birth story and following your postpartum exercise routine, as well as whatever else you choose to write about! I’m loving that my parents will be here next week as staying for a couple months. Extra hands to hold the little man and my dad to help with all the home improvement projects I have planned.
Hi Erin! Well YAY! Congrats to you on your little guy! And how awesome to have your parents stay for a couple of months – I would LOVE that – I would totally let my Mom move in if she could heehe. I really appreciate you reading and saying hi! Take care, momma!
I focus more on food on my blog so I enjoy reading more fitness related posts. I also love how you share your more relaxed attitude toward food and what balanced meals you are eating! As someone who dealt with amenorrhea to I feel like I can always relate to your mindset now!
Hi Kelli! And I LOVE your food and recipes! As far as my mindset now, yessss to balance — and it makes me cringe to see all the “healthy influencers” out there who are NOT promoting balance at all. We’ve got to stick together, lady! 🙂 heheh
Took your survey 🙂 Would love to try out this creamer… I have been wanting to try this brand and collagen in general but it is not cheap so I have been a little gun shy!
Hi Sarah! I totally understand, some health products like this are definitely pricey, but once you see the results, you feel better about the spend. Thanks for taking the survey and for reading! 🙂
Oh how things have changed. Congrats on the new house. So happy for you and your little(growing) family. Enjoy your move. Can’t wait to see pics
Thank you, Dena!! We’re growing up over here heheh! 🙂 Thanks for reading, my friend!
The collagen craze has me intrigued…
Hi Faith! It did for me too, and I was happy with the results once I finally tried!
Ahh so exciting that you bought a house! Congrats! I remember hearing about how crazy the market is in the bay area when I was living there. Best of luck with your move! I’ve also been seeing those creamer packets on your IG feed and would love to try them!
Hi Brittany! Yes — it’s rough out here with real estate, but it’s a great place to live! 🙂 Happy Friday to you, lady!
Been wanting to try the creamer! 🙂 Good luck with the move.
Thank you so much, Stephanie! Have a great weekend!
Congrats on the new home!! Would love to try this creamer 🙂
Thanks, Lisa! Happy Friday to you! 🙂
I’m so excited for you and the new house! And I’ve been dying to trying those new creamers!
They are so good! Thanks, Megan! Have a fabbbb Friday, my friend!
congrats!!!
Thanks, Judith! Have a great weekend! 🙂
Congratulations on this new and very exciting step! Owning a house in the Bay Area is indeed a HUGE deal! We might be neighbors now! 🙂
Hi Marie! No way! Are you a Pleasant Hill gal?? 🙂 Woohoo!
Oh wait! I thought you were in Walnut Creek 🙂 we bought a house in WC a couple years ago but are currently living in SF. The plan is to move back to East Bay someday 🙂
Yup — new house is in Pleasant Hill, but we’ve been in Walnut Creek — we’re actually moving to the border of WC and PH! Hope to see you back in the East Bay soon! 🙂
I really want to give the Vital Protein collagen supplements a try! BTW, I read all of your posts and am so inspired with how you handle fitness, health, and motherhood!
Well you are the SWEETEST! Thanks for saying that, Sheila — because I never quite feel like I’m handling it all hehehe! 🙂
I love Vital Proteins! I use their collagen in my coffee every morning. I also filled out your survey! Love your blog!!
Hi Amber! Yay! Thank you, my friend!! 🙂
So many new and exciting things happening in your life! I’ve been on the fence about purchasing collagen because of the price. I’d love to try it before I make the investment!
Hi Jo! Yes, I know the good collagen is expensive! It’s definitely worth it for the benefits though. Thanks for reading and saying hi! 🙂
Congratulations on the house! That’s amazing! I have used Vital Proteins Collagen in my coffee for a long time – I’d love to try those creamers!
Hi Lindsey! They are so good! Thanks for stopping by to say hello! Have a great weekend! 🙂
Congratulations on the house, that is so exciting! Have a wonderful weekend 🙂
Thanks, Ash! Thanks for reading and saying hi! 🙂
I had no idea they made creamer!!! Sounds perfect.
And congrats on the new house!
Congrats on the house!
I would love to try the new creamer 🙂
Thank you, Laura!! 🙂 Hope you have a great weekend!
You bought a house! That is so exciting! Congratulations! I hope you guys love it there!
Thanks, Brittany! We are very happy about it! Thanks for saying hi, lady! Have a great weekend! 🙂
yay! You got a house! Someday let’s trade bay area real estate stories!! I’d love to get the husband on the collagen creamer train 😉
Seriously! It’s a miracle heheh! 🙂 Happy Friday, Alexa!
Would love to try the collagen creamer! Have never tried collagen and this looks like an easy way to do it.
Hi! It’s super easy to drop it into your morning coffee or tea! Thanks for saying hi!
Yum, I’ve been seeing that creamer around the web lately and was wondering how I’d like it. Have a wonderful weekend! 🙂
It’s very tasty and easy to use! Have a great weekend, Traci! 🙂
Congrats on the house! Very exciting!
I love Vital Proteins!! I’d love to try the creamer.
Thanks, Tracy! Have a great weekend! 🙂
I took the survey, painless. The creamer is the kind of product I keep my eyes peeled for when shopping. Collagen is something I’m currently trying to get more of in my day to day.
hahah thanks, lady! 🙂 I appreciate you taking it! And yes for doing collagen daily — helps to have it consistently.
Congrats on your new house! Have you done the new Les Mills BodyPump release? 104 is the number I believe.
Hi Benjamin! I haven’t done it actually, I am back on the instructor autoship now, so will start back with release 105. Have you done it? I hope to try it soon.
Ashley!
I would LOVE to try this creamer! I am already a fan of their collagen, and this sounds amazing.
Brady is adorable! Also, I am glad you got a night out as a momma.:)
Thanks so much, Laura!! 🙂 I’m glad I got a night out too! How’s the blog going for you??
Congrats on the house!! That’s so exciting! I’d love to win the vital proteins collagen pack. I’m always looking for new ways to incorporate more protein in my diet so this would be perfect for adding to coffee or smoothies!
Yess — lot of good protein in the collagen peptides! Thanks for saying hi, Liz! 🙂
Wow! I’ve been seeing that creamer around some of the blogs I frequent and would love to give it a try!
Thanks for saying hi, Alaina! Have a great weekend! 🙂
Howdy neighbor! Welcome to Pleasant Hill!!! We’ve been here 2 1/2 years, and I really like it. I’ve been looking for Vital Proteins creamer for about a month now. I can tell you it’s not in Sprouts or the Whole Foods in Lafayette or Walnut Creek (haven’t tried the one on Y Valley yet). Really glad to hear you confirm how good it is. I would luv to win it.
Good to know! I’ve always gotten the VP products online, but maybe they will make their way to us soon. Yayyyy for Pleasant Hill too! 🙂 Maybe I’ll see you in Sprouts, Dawn! 🙂
Hello there, Lori from Texas. Congratulations on your new endeavor. How exciting ? Love your blog and all your doing. I subscribed and im lookin forward to more. Also thank you for the super generous chance to win the Vital Proteins creamer, Ive been dying to try it but can’t afford, thanks so much for the chance and good luck to everyone. God Bless ?
Hi Lori! Thanks so much for reading and saying hello! 🙂 I hope you have a nice weekend!!
CONGRATS ON THE HOUSE!! 🙂
Thanks so much, Dee! 🙂
Congrats on the house! And yes, I did the survey. I have been trying to get more protein in my diet as of late, so it sounds like the creamer would be a delicious and easy way to get some early on in the day. Do you prefer this over the Collagen Peptides now?
Hi Amanda! Thanks for doing the survey! The creamer is made from collagen peptides too, it just also has the flavor and coconut milk mixed in. I like the taste of the coconut creamer better in my tea, because I usually use the straight peptides, which have no flavor or texture. However, two scoops of the straight peptides has more collagen and protein — so it’s a toss-up. If you want to use collagen in more ways than just your tea or coffee, I’d go for the plain peptides as more versatile. If you just want a good taste in your tea and coffee, I’d go with the creamer. Hope that helps! 🙂
Yes! Thanks for the additional information.
You’re welcome! 🙂
Ooh I’ve always wanted to try vital proteins brand!
It’s the best! Thanks for saying hi, Laura! 🙂
Woohoo congrats on the house. I live in a similarly competitive market and getting our family home has been so sweet!
I would love to try the collagen creamer! I’m in post partum recovery and I know I could use it ? Not sure where to find this brand here in Canada.
Hi Rose!!! Oh yes, you do need some collagen in your life right now for sure. Thanks so much for reading, lady! 🙂 And the Vital Proteins has a locator on their website https://www.vitalproteins.com/pages/store-locator — see if that helps!
Best thing going on in my life right now.. got my cycle back!! 7.5 months of acupuncture, supplements, and gaining about 15-20 lbs, ALL WORTH IT! Now, all I need is a positive pregnancy test!
Oh my gosh, Allison! 🙂 That is amazing! I’m SOOO proud of you for this!!! Keep up the amazing work, and I hope you get that positive pregnancy test very soon! Keep the faith, lady! WOOHOO!!!
Congradulations on the new home Ashley!!! It’s sooo exciting!!! We too purchased our first home recently (July 2017) but we haven’t moved in yet because we are currently renting it out. But that lease is up on February 28th and let me tell you excitement in our home is rising by the day!!! Needless to say I can totally share your excitement!!!!! In regards to the collagen/protein packets: does the company sell products in Canada? I would love to try it but a lot of these awesome products you recommend aren’t available here! (Including Trader Joe’s stores which actually makes me want to cry that we are missing out on such an awesome grocery store!) Loving the baby pictures! Can’t ever have enough of those! Also enjoyed taking your survey but noticed there wasn’t a check off box for “knew you before the blog” 😉 Enjoy your weekend and Happy Friday!
Hi Tea! hahaha! I didn’t think to make that check box — but you knew me even before I was Ashley Pitt heheh! 🙂 That’s awesome you’ve already bought a house that is waiting for you … good luck with your move in! Vital Proteins does sell to Canada I believe, you can put your zip code in here: https://www.vitalproteins.com/pages/store-locator — that’s too bad about Trader Joe’s. Have you heard of Thrive Market? You can order a lot of well-priced healthy food items that way. So happy you said hi!! 🙂 Have a great weekend!
Congrats on the new house! I would love to try the Vital Proteins!
Thanks so much, Deidra! 🙂
I found a mommy group but it took until my kiddo was 21 months old to find it. I love it!
Also interested in the collagen craze. I make my own stock from leftover bones. These days it’s called bone broth and people seem to be going nuts over it.
Yessss — I buy my bone broth, but know it’s not too hard to make. Good for you for being in on the craze before it was a craze hehehe! Have a great weekend, Marykate! 🙂
The notification for this comment went to my spam folder?. Super simple bone broth, start with leftover (rotisserie chicken, chicken thighs, wings, etc) bones and cover with cold water, add some veggies if you want, simmer for 4 hours, strain. That’s it!
Just saw this new flavor! I would love love to try it.
Thanks, Abby! 🙂
Congratulations on your new home – that’s so exciting!! Can’t wait to see pics. And I’d love to try some of that creamer – sounds tasty and beneficial.
It definitely is! Thanks for saying hi, Tanya! 🙂 Have a great weekend!
Congrats on buying a house!! I just bought our first home 3 years ago. The market was pretty crazy where I live too. We’d look at a house and by the time we drove home, it was gone already. It was nuts! Owning a home is a labor of love for sure. I love being able to change anything that I want and doing updating projects. We took our 1983 home and brought into the 2000s? . I’d love to win the giveaway! I’ve never tried their creamer yet. I’m glad you’re meeting new moms! It helps to not feel alone. I have one son who just started kindergarten and another who is 13 months old. I’d like to meet more moms this coming year since my little guy is on a better schedule now. Take care!
You bought a house?!? OMG. I’m beyond jealous. What an accomplishment! Happy for you. And doing the survey now. 🙂
Thank you, India! We’re sooooo excited! Thank you for doing the survey too. Have a great weekend! 🙂
Love seeing your life updates on here:) I feel you in the sleep deprivation! Lucas was similar in my experience and I never found a “trick” that worked. Luckily Catalina is an amazing sleeper, she was Ferberized and never looked back (knock on wood). I think sometimes it’s just those low-sleep-needs personalities or something. I wish you luck and sending Brady sleep vibes!!
And congrats on the house, can’t wait to see more pics.
The collagen looks yummy- my sister’s into it too but I haven’t gotten on that bandwagon yet. I’ll have to try:)
Hi Nat! You’d love the collagen — you need to jump on the bandwagon hehehe. That’s so awesome Catalina is a good sleeper — we’re hoping to make some progress with Brady soon. Who knows!! Miss you!!
A pleasant hill neighbor! We have been her 5 years and love it for the community feel and proximity to WC, Lafayette, and SF. Welcome welcome 🙂
No way! Hi Beth! So exciting! And yes … we’re totally happy about the location of the new house! Have a great weekend! 🙂
I’d love to try the new collagen creamer! I already have the blue tube collagen powder, but the creamer sounds delish.
It’s definitely got more flavor and texture than the plain collagen peptides. Thanks for saying hi, Kalena. Have a great weekend! 🙂
I think this just might be my first comment on your blog! Big congrats on buying a house!!! We moved from the Midwest to Portland, Oregon, in May with an almost 4-year-old and a 7-week-old. What a whirlwind! Eight months later, we are still settling in…making our house a home and exploring around town. Try to give yourself permission to take your time with the non-essential things. Oh, and I’d love to try that creamer. We’re experiencing a little sleep regression, so I’m sure it would be a tasty addition to my morning coffee 😉
Hi Sheila! Oh man, you moved with two little ones? That sounds rough! I’m so glad you’re getting settled into your new spot. I hear great things about Portland, but have never been. Have a wonderful weekend, and thanks SO much for saying hi, lady! 🙂
My favorite thing to with friends is to go out to karaoke or have a game night 🙂
Those are super fun things, Jillian. I LOVEEEE to play games too. What are some of your faves? I like Apples to Apples, Catch Phrase and Cards Against Humanity.
Took the survey!!! The gist was that I love your blog haha. I’d love to try the creamer product!
heeheheh well I love to hear that! Thank you, Eva! 🙂 Have a great weekend!
I have not heard of a collagen creamer but it sounds fantastic! Great review and I enjoy your life adventures and thank you for the fun giveaway.
Thank YOU so much for reading and saying hi, Renata! 🙂 Have a great weekend!
Love your blog and would like to try the collagen!
Thanks, Marissa! Have a great weekend! 🙂
Congratulations to you.
I am a big fan of peptides.
Thanks, Anne! 🙂 Have a great weekend!
Congrats on the home! Having previously lived in the Bay area myself for several years I can relate to what a CRAZY market it is out there. I am originally from Florida as well, so it blew my mind to learn that everything goes above asking price.
I would love to win the giveaway. I currently use a less than healthy version of coconut creamer in my coffee daily and would love to switch to something better for me.
Have a great weekend.
Hi Erica! That’s cool you’ve been a Florida and Bay Area girl, just like me! 🙂 Thanks for saying hi! Hope you also have a great weekend!
Just took the survey! Congrats on buying the house–so exciting! Can’t wait to see more pictures of it. Good luck with moving…moving is never the fun part but getting settled will be fantastic!
Thank you, Heather, for taking the survey and for reading, friend. Have a great weekend! 🙂
I’ve tried Vital Proteins Collagen, but not the creamer. Would like to try that!
Thanks, Susan! 🙂
Congratulations on your new home. 🙂 Yay for collagen, my joints, skin hair and nails could definitely use it and of course more protein is always great! 😀
Hi Diana! Totally! We could all use the collagen. Thanks! 🙂
Vital Proteins Collagen= “The Best!”.
Congrats on the new home,
Thanks, Brenda! Have a great weekend! 🙂
Congratulations on the new home! My bf and I are leaving SF (after 4 years) and moving to the east bay (Temescal area). Can’t wait! I’m definitely not looking forward to the house hunt in the future. I would love to try the collagen supplement! Do you find that it helps you??
Hi Marian! Wow! A big step! That’s exciting. Hopefully your house hunt will be easier than ours! And yessss the collagen has helped with my hair length and thickness, same for nails too — and I never have digestion problems, but I think it helps there too! 🙂
I LOVE Vital Proteins but haven’t tried their creamers yet… and would love the opportunity to do so! Also about to complete your survey :).
Thank you, Maeve! Hope you’re having a great weekend!
I’ve been meaning to try that new creamer. I use the regular Vital Proteins collagen every day in my coffee but have not tried these new ones. Congratulations on the house and good luck with the packing and moving!
Thanks, Kate! The creamer is creamier than the regular collagen peptides! 🙂
Congrats with the new house! I too am a new homeowner and was outbid 11 Times! It got really frustrating, but we finally found The One and couldn’t have been happier! Can’t wait to see pics! I’ve never tried the product you, but will hope to soon! Have a great day! XOXO
Hi Krystal! Totally! Those other homes that we didn’t get weren’t as good as the one we got! It was meant to be! 🙂 Thanks so much for saying hi!
Congrats on the house!!
I don’t drink coffee often, but saw they have a new matcha collagen powder too!!
Mmmm
Hi Thuy! Yes — the matcha is good too! 🙂 Thanks for saying hi!
Took the quiz and look forward to seeing what you decide to talk about this year. Congratulations on the new house! So exciting. Good luck moving with the baby! I’ve done it twice now with newborns and it’s definitely not an easy event. If you have someone that can watch him while the actual moving occurs – get the help!
Fingers crossed for the creamer…I’ve been eyeing it for a few weeks now.
Hi Audra! Thanks — we’re also crossing our fingers for an easy move with the babe! 🙂
I would love to try the creamer in my morning coffee! Thank you for the opportunity!
Thanks so much for saying hi, Georgiana! 🙂 Hope you’re having a nice weekend!
Oooh so curious to try to the creamer! I already take the regular VP collagen, so I bet it is amazing! My favorite thing to do with friends is to go to a spin class together, or grab a coffee and go for a walk if the weather is nice. Congratulations on the house!! That is a huge accomplishment.
Thanks so much, Reid! I love that your friend activities include being active! 🙂
Congrats on your house. I’m sure you will love it! I can’t wait to try this creamer. Thanks for the giveaway!

Thank YOU for saying hi, Jamie! 🙂
Honestly, I am not even completely sure what this vitalproteins collegen does but I have seen it on a ton of Instagram accounts that I follow and I really want to give it a try. Also, I think this would be good for me because my New Years resolution is to trade out bad foods in my pantry and replace them with nourishing superfoods.
Hi Lily, I know — seems like a lot of people are pushing collagen. It’s good for the skin, hair growth and thickness, nails and making your digestion/gut health a little better too. It works for me! Thanks for saying hi! 🙂

That’s so exciting about your first house! We recently just finished redoing the backsplash, painting and adding undercabinet lights to our kitchen. It was a lot of work, but it looks so much better. I have been just sitting and staring at it. PS- the creamer looks awesome!
Thanks, Amanda! We don’t have a ton of work to do on the new house, but I look forward to making it our own! Enjoy that kitchen! 🙂
These looks really interesting and good!
