It’s the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2024, and I spent a lot of time digging around the site, so I wanted to share my finds with you. While you certainly don’t need to shop this sale, it is a great time to get some quality basic items at a reduced price. The good stuff definitely sells out, so if you see something you like, go for it (you can always return it!).

I thought about going into my local Nordstrom to do some shopping for this sale (because sometimes you just want to look at the clothes in person), but I noticed that most of the things on my wish list weren’t in stock in Charlotte, so I shopped on the Nordstrom website. By the way, the sale is open to the public as of today.

I ordered this bodysuit – the BP. Butter Rib Square Neck Bodysuit — and I hope it ends up being a wardrobe staple for me. 1.State Square Neck Rib Tank

I really wanted to order this top from the sale this year — the 1.State Square Neck Rib Tank — but my size is not currently in stock. I can just tell that I would love this. Zella Longline Quilted Bomber Jacket

I bought a very similar jacket to this one — the Zella Longline Quilted Bomber Jacket — by this same brand during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale last year, and I wore it almost every single day from November through March. For real. It’s the perfect light activewear jacket. I washed it a ton, and it still looks great. I highly recommend this affordable casual jacket, and it’s perfect for going over gym clothes. Spanx Faux Leather Leggings

I love these leggings (and I don’t wear them for exercise, but for going out). I’m due for a new pair of these Spanx Faux Leather Leggings actually — they’re the perfect pant for the fall and winter. 1.State Puff Sleeve Rib Shirt

I’ve had this exact shirt — 1.State Puff Sleeve Rib Shirt — for a couple of years, and when it’s tucked into jeans or a skirt, it’s such a great look. I love a puff sleeve. This shirt comes in multiple colors, and I wear a small in it. The fabric feels awesome, because it has a bit of a rib. Originally $59, on sale for $39.99. Zella Live In High Waist Leggings

I had a pair of this exact style of leggings — Zella Live In High Waist Leggings — and I wore them all the time for a few years, before I finally game them to my mom. I just bought this jacket during this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2024 — the Zella Hybrid Zip Front Jacket — and it was the first thing I had scoped out on my wish list. I know I should have ordered the black for more versatility, but I had to have the ivory. I can’t wait for it to arrive, and then for the weather to cool down enough for me to wear it. Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Ox Low Top Sneaker

I’ve had several pairs of Converse Chuck Taylor sneakers in my life, and I don’t have any right now, but I want these — the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Ox Low Top Sneaker. They’re so classic, they go with anything, and they never go out of style. I love the look of these. Originally $65, on sale for $49.99. Nordstrom Stretch Pima Cotton Long Sleeve Shirt

I usually buy all my basic tops from Everlane, but I have my eye on this one — Nordstrom Stretch Pima Cotton Long Sleeve Shirt. I always love the pima cotton fabric, and you can never have enough long-sleeve basic tops to tuck into jeans and pants and skirts. Originally $49.50, on sale for $32.99. Le Specs Air Heart Cat Eye Sunglasses

I don’t have these sunglasses — Le Specs Air Heart Cat Eye Sunglasses — but I have two girlfriends who have them (well only one now, because one got lost in the ocean). adidas Primegreen Stan Smith Sneakers

I have these sneakers (with a different back color) — adidas Primegreen Stan Smith Sneakers –and they’re comfy, classic and go with pretty much anything. Dave has these sneakers in a ton of colors too. This style has been around forever, and I don’t see it going anywhere. Originally $100, on sale for $79.99. Chinese Laundry Liinda Slide Sandal

I usually like a flat or a high-heel shoe, but I recently bought a pair of low-heeled slides and love them. The pair I have are incredibly similar to this one by Chinese Laundry — the Liinda Slide Sandal. I’m a fan. Originally $79.95, on sale for $53.99. Get the Liinda Slide Sandal here.
