The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2023 is here! I’ve always loved shopping at Nordstrom, and this annual sale is the perfect time to score some deals. Thanks for letting me share my finds with you!
Hi, friend! How are you? Every year, I like to devote a full post to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, because there are so many good deals to be had. I recently scoured the entire Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2023 and picked out the best items for you below. From activewear to basics to sneakers to dresses and more — I usually choose the most affordable and practical items, so that’s what you see here. Also, as a note: Sale items often sell out, and I had to pull some already-sold-out things off this list right before publishing, so act quickly if you like what you see.
By the way, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2023 is open to the public July 17 through August 6. And if you shop through my links below, you support me, so thanks for that!
My top 13 picks from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2023
Let’s get to those top 13 …
I know most of us are feeling the heat of the summer and aren’t thinking about sweaters right now. But that’s the cool thing about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2023, you can load up on a few things to wear later in the year at a deal. I’m not great about buying things in advance, but I know for sure I could get a lot of use out of this gorgeous belted sweater dress, especially the camel color. It’s less than $50 too. Shop the Charles Henry Belted Sweater Dress here.
I’ve been wanting to get a pair of flare-leg jeans. I tried on some brands that I didn’t love, but I’ve had several pairs of Joe’s Jeans in the past and have always liked them. I usually wear a 27 or 28 in Joe’s Jeans, and these flares say to size up, so I’d go with 28. The flare jean is super trendy, and I think it gives off a dressy vibe, and they’re said to elongate legs too. These jeans are not cheap, but they are cheaper than full price, that’s for sure. Shop the Joe’s Raw-Hem Flare Jeans here.
I have a pair of Cole Haan black leather sneakers, very similar to these, and I wear them all the time. They are super comfy, so I know Cole Haan makes a good shoe. And isn’t it great how you can wear sneakers with just about anything these days? Dresses. Workout wear. Jeans. Shorts. Rompers. Sneakers are where it’s at, and this is a solid pair of leather all-purpose casual sneakers for just $79, and you can even choose a metallic color. I’m a fan. Shop the Cole Haan Danica Sneakers here.
I’ve posted about these faux leather leggings regularly for maybe five years, because I’ve had mine for that long. They are so versatile, and they are compressive and flattering in the best ways. You can dress them up or down under a long shirt or sweater, with boots or with sneakers. They run tight, and I wear a medium in them. They are on major sale right now, and I will continue recommending them until you try them, because everyone needs a pair. Shop the Spanx Faux Leather Leggings here.
For many, many years, I wore basketball shorts and old t-shirts as pajamas. Yes, I did. Well, in the last three or four years, I started turning to actual pajama sets, and I’ll never go back (I literally can’t imagine sleeping in a regular cotton t-shirt now). Pajama sets have softer fabrics, they’re more breathable, and it’s so nice to have a couple cute outfits to put on to lounge and to sleep. I like shorts sets the most throughout the year, saving long pants just for the cold winter. And I like almost every pattern of this Honeydew set from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2023. It just looks soft. I think I’ll get the animal ones, and I’ll be ordering a medium to size up. Also, these are on sale for only $36. Shop the Honeydew Pajama Shorts Set here.
I’m not much of a runner, but you could wear these shorts all the time outside of running. They are only $25, and I’ve bought a lot of Zella activewear in the past, and it totally holds up. I could see myself wearing these for outdoor tennis or for running errands. I usually wear a medium in Zella, and I’d probably choose that for these shorts. Shop the Zella Altitude Running Shorts here.
Here I am recommending another sweater dress, but I love them. This one is sleeveless with a cool (and forgiving) tie-waist feature too. Also, I’m a sucker for beige clothing. Anyone else? I could see this dress working for spring and fall too, and I like items that can be multi-seasonal. Shop the Treasure & Bond Tie-Waist Sweater Dress here.
I do love skinny jeans, but I’m also all about the wide-leg these days. These jeans from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2023 are the perfect lighter denim color and they have stretch. I used to wear exclusively 7 For All Mankind Jeans when I was in college and haven’t had a pair in a while — just the name “7 Jeans” brings me back to my college days, to tell you the truth. Shop the 7 For All Mankind Jo High-Waisted Wide-Leg Crop Jeans here.
For the last four winters, I’ve been wearing this puffy Fabletics cropped jacket, and over the last year or so, the Fabletics logo patch came off the side, the sleeves got worn and the jacket hardly covers my mid-drift when I put on a backpack — a rough situation for cold weather. I should have bought a new jacket years ago, and I’m finally going to do that with this Zella one. It’s a long-line jacket, which I like. And according to reviews, you can totally fit a hoodie underneath. This is just what my winter wardrobe needs, for just a bit over $100. Shop the Zella Quilted Recycled Polyester Jacket here.
I’m on my second pair of Quay sunglasses, and I’ve had my eye on some just like these. They are so reasonably priced (at just $49), and they are solid glasses for everyday wear. I want a pair with more coverage like these have, and I love the gold detail across the top too. What a deal. Shop the Quay Level Up Gradient Square Sunglasses here.
I have a very similar top in this same brand, and I love to wear it with high-waisted jeans. This top is one of those that’s not trendy at all, and you can wear it forever. I like all the colors, and I have a small in my top. And it’s on sale for just $38. A perfect thing to grab during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2023. Shop the 1.STATE Flutter Sleeve Knit Top here.
Okay, I only wear heels maybe once or twice a month, but I really do like to wear them when the occasion is right. And when I buy heels, I like them to be solid color, practical and comfortable. These block heel slides look like they will be sturdy enough to walk in or stand in for a while, and that matters to me. And I love the knotted feature. I think these could go with just about anything in either color. Shop the Ted Baker London Shennly Knotted Block Slide Heels here.
Here’s another trend that I’m all about: Activewear dresses and skirts. Yes, tennis players have been wearing activewear skirts and dresses for a long time, but you don’t need to be playing a paddle sport to wear an activewear dress any longer. This Zella activewear dress has pockets and a nice zip-neck feature too, and it’s only $49. I could see myself wearing this all the time. Shop the Zella Strength Performance Court Dress here.
While there are some deals on home goods, bags, jewelry and even beauty stuff, I didn’t find anything that was I was dying to have, so I’ve kept my recommendations to clothing, shoes and a pair of sunglasses. However, if you do want to get a Dyson hair dryer (which I’ve had for maybe five years and totally love), that splurge-worthy hair accessory is on sale here.
And those are my top picks from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2023! Thanks for scrolling through, and if you choose any of these items, thanks for using my links. Have a great day! xoxo
